Choosing Lightweight Backpacking Gear

Lightweight starts with having the right lightweight backpacking gear, particularly with the type of pack a trekker plans to carry.
Since traveling light means lightweight backpacking gear that helps the backpacker bring all the stuff they'll need. Lightweight backpacking gear packs include those built with an overall suspension system, to those with lots of padding.
When it choosing the ideal pack, comfort is the most important consideration. Always keep in mind that compromising his/her comfort for weight considerations is likely just bad economizing.
By selecting the right pack, one will greatly add to number of other lightweight items that can be carried, such as a portable stoves.
