Why Choose an RV over Other Vehicles?
from: Maxx Adventure TravelIn some cities, it's quite essential for you to have your own vehicle while other states eliminate the need for you to purchase your own car.
A regular car is fine for your everyday traveling needs, such as when going to work or picking up your kids at school.
It's a different story, however, when you need to be on the road for quite some time.
Let's say you want to take a long vacation, go state-hopping or your job requires you to be on the move all the time. In these cases, having a recreational vehicle or RV is a far better option than settling for a regular vehicle, such as a Toyota Corolla.
Here are some advantages of an RV over other types of vehicles.
1. You can enjoy all the comforts of home while traveling. You don't need to endure using public toilets or having to check into motel rooms.
Why not travel with an RV and have your family with you, literally in the "back seat" of the car?
Traveling will be more fun and comfortable when you use this type of vehicle.
2. RV versus a luxury van.
Luxury vans are almost similar to RV's in the sense that you can travel in comfort and style.
However, luxury vans don't always offer the convenience of an RV where you get to live and travel in it at the same time.
3. High-end RV's offer economy on fuel, ease on camping and absolute mobility.
When choosing a recreational vehicle you want to rent or purchase, you need to look at the storage space so you can bring all the essential stuff with you.
This would lessen your petty cash expenses when you don't have to buy anything outside and just bring along what you have at home.
In terms of drivability, you can't deny the fact there are some models which are tough to drive, especially the monster RV's.
You have to choose a model which performs well on the road. Also consider the fuel economy of the RV model you're getting.
RV's will also give you an easy time with parking, as there are a lot of RV parks which offer a complete hookup with water and electricity.
Of course, just like anything else, there 'll be some disadvantage on using RV's as compared to regular cars. Size and cost are some factors.
However, you can try to work around those disadvantages if you want to have fun, comfort and a feeling of being at home while traveling.
