Have a Maui Scuba Diving Adventure

from: Maxx Adventue Travel

If you fly just a few miles west of Los Angeles you'll discover a group of tiny islands known as Hawaii. This is a wonderful place where tourists enjoy the white sands, volcanoes, surf and exploring life under the water. Maui is certainly considered one of the best dive locations in the world.

Since it's considered e one of the best dive spots, you know it's going to be a place with a wide collection of plant and animal life plus you'll also see species of fish that aren't found anywhere else in the world.

Your adventure will begin once you book your flight to these little islands and make arrangements with the resort of your choice to go diving. If you're licensed, you be able to hire a boat while those who aren't yet certified can enroll in a basic course.

Most resorts are certified by SSI, NADI or PADI so you can be certain of the quality of education taught by the dive master. You can also rent the gear you need, which isn't expensive, and this means you wont have to lug around as much gear from the mainland to the island.

With most of the popular hotels nestled by the beach, once you get your equipment, you can head out to the water.

Of course, there are lots of other places you'll want to see such as the Molokini Marine Reserve which is an island volcano located a few miles from Maui. You can cahrter a boat and head out to this distant island along with others to catch a dolphin, an eel or even a sea turtle.

If you're looking to try something different, why not do some night diving. When you're holding a flare in the hand, you may get to see some sea creatures sleeping peacefully, which is impossible to do during the daytime.

Rates for diving will vary at each resort so check online or have your travel agent get you the details for the trip. Once everything is set, just pick your equipment from the dive shop, head down to the ocean and and suck up all the beauty of this enchanting environment.

Divers should make sure to check out all the diving spots near the island of Maui to really experience the beauty rather than relying of photographs or reviews found in a magazine.
