Therefore, here's a few recommendations that might help narrow down those you want to check out.
Colorado, particularly in the Aspen area is a great skiing haven and popular with both North American and Europeans skiers. It's an excellent choices since it accommodates beginners as well as expert skiers, however, be aware that due to the areas popularity, it's relatively expensive when compared to other skiing destinations.
If you prefer Europe as a desination, an excellent resort can be found in Italy in the area around Cortina. Cortina was actually one of the first resorts ever built and it remains a popular and charming location that provides the perfect skiing environment.
Another charming ski resort in the United States is located in Vermont and it provides some of the finest facilities available anywhere. What's especially convenient is all the resorts in the area are interconnected, which makes it easy to go from one resort to another. In addition, these resorts are especially accommodating to vacationers providing all the stores and restaurants to make your stay a pleasant experience.
Don't forget to check out one of the finest ski desinations in France at Chamonix where the resort is well-known for its terrain, plus some of the longest runs to be found anywhere on the planet.
Any list of the best skiing destinations wouldn't be complete without Switzerland where you'll find some of the very best resorts. St. Moritz is the best known, but there are also hidden treasures at Zermatt because this area has some of the freshest air and most peaceful environments anywhere to guarantee a wonderful skiing adventure.
This is just a brief list, but if you're the adventurous type, you'll probably want to visit many different slopes throughout the world. Skiing is truly one of the great adventure activities you can participate in, so don't limit yourself to just a few resorts. The world is your playground so let the adventures begin.
